   Filing your PBSTRN database.

Only do this after hours and best to restart the server before starting. Of course a Backup should be run and History included before you carry out this process.

WARNING: 
If someone tries to log in during a file history process you can corrupt the database!!

Pbstrn.mdb is where history is normally stored after a file history, but sometimes this gets full also and it needs to be filed off.

This is available from Database & Options > Statistics Tab > Select PBSTRN.MDB in the Database selection box.

Now Click analyze Database and wait till the boxes fill in.

Once they are filled in with record Qty�s you simply Tick a year and click File History.

Only do one year at a time. The result will be another database created with pbstrn2001.mdb as its name meaning it now has the history from that year.

After you have done a few of these you can do a Freshen and Compact on the History Database from
Database & options > Freshen Database with ReIndex and Compact History ticked Only.
