Cant find DataBase. If Peach is operating OK on the Server then check network cables & reboot Hub, Server and Workstations. If still does not connect contact your network administrator or hardware person. Printers are not operating. From the workstation that cannot print go to Control Panel > Printers & Faxes > Identify Printer > Right Click on it and left click on properties. Click PRINT TEST PAGE If printer prints 1st try again & then call Peach if fails. If the test page doesn? print call hardware administrator or Hardware person. Too many screens open out of memory. This is most common from a machine that has been having problems printing or other issues causing Peach to close with an error. Simply restart the machine and make a note of actions that continue to close Peach with an error. This is the problem source and not the memory problem. After tracking this for a day or two call Peach so we can best analyse the problem. Orders, Pricing Structure, Reports not producing desired results. 1. Make sure that entries like Group Codes, Subgroup Codes, Tax Codes, Preferred Suppliers etc are in the correct case. An upper lower case problem is very common. Try clearing the Code completely and re-entering it. Sometimes there is a space where you can? see it. Make sure the code you have is registered in the Group Codes Table, Subgroup Code Table etc. 2. When making Group, Sub Group, Customer Codes or Supplier Codes its best to keep a standard length of the code. A bad example of codes would be RICH and RICHARDS or 1 & 100 or ABC and ABCD. This has no effect on the data base integrity however does confuse the reports writer. In the above examples the first example is a subset of the second and this is the problem. This problem does not effect part number. Edited by peach - 25-Dec-2006 at 14:41 |
